William Weston Hatfield, 53, of Asheville, NC died Friday, April 8, 2016. Born in Caldwell County on February 15, 1963, he was a son of the late William Reid Hatfield, III and Sarah Prestwood Hatfield Kimberlin.
William is survived by his sister, Marylin Waters and husband, Tommy of Morganton; aunts and uncle, Betty Setzer, Dorothy Bumgarner, and Nancy Prestwood all of Lenoir and, Onie and “Daddy Bill” Goodson of Morganton; and a number of nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, William was preceded in death by a brother, Tommy Hatfield and niece, Ashley McCurry.
A memorial service will be held 11:00 a.m., Saturday, April 16, 2016 at Walker Road Baptist Church with Rev. Jesse Carr officiating. The family will receive friends following the service.
