Winnie B. Fox, 80, of Nebo, NC died Monday, January 15, 2018 at her home. Born April 21, 1937, in Burke County, she was a daughter to the late Benjamin Browning and Ida Chapman Browning. She was a member of Faith Baptist Church.
Winnie is survived by her husband, William “Bob” Fox; son, William Fox and wife Helena Oscarius Fox of Stockholm, Sweden; daughter, Dianna Clark and husband, Clarence of Lake James; grandchildren, Shannon Carpenter and Alexander Fox; and brothers, Carrol Browning of Nebo and Marty Browning of Morganton.
In addition to her parents, Winnie was preceded in death by two sisters and three brothers.
The graveside service will be held at 1:00 p.m., Friday, January 19 at Oak Grove Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Terry Robinson officiating.
Sossoman Funeral Home and Crematory Center is assisting the family with the arrangements.
