Angel Brook Day, 51, of Morganton, NC, went home to be with her Lord on Wednesday, May 29, 2024.

Born in Orlando, FL on June 21, 1972, she was the daughter of Edwin Brooks and Darlene Poarch.

Angel attended Poarch Chapel Church. When she was younger, she was a stay at home mother. She loved to cook and spend time with her grandbabies.

In addition to her parents, Angel is survived by her husband, Keith Day; children, Angelica Epley, Samantha Baker (Adam), and Rodney Alan Epley, Jr.; grandchildren, Alaina, Bailynn, Caisley, Peyton, Ambria, Savia, and Maverick; and sisters, Rachel Brooks and Cristi Speagle.

The family will receive friends from 3pm-4pm on Saturday, June 8, 2024 at South Mountain Community Church. The funeral will begin at 4pm in the church with Rev. Brian Gragg officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

Sossoman Funeral Home and Crematory Center is assisting the family with the arrangements.
