Gail, Van Ray, Pam, and Family---We have no words to express our sadness in Betty's home going---excited for her but our hearts are broken! When we joined Mount Home many years ago, Betty was one of the first persons to welcome us and we immediately bonded! She was such a beautiful lady with a beautiful smile. What an inspiration she was to us and she will be so missed by all who knew her! We heard many funny stories, especially about her time spent in Nevada! She loved the Lord with all her heart and her family as well! She promised us one of her first books published and we sure were looking forward to it! Please know all of you remain in our thoughts and prayers during the days ahead! Miss Betty, we loved you so much---Until we meet again!!!!!!!!!

My sincere condolences to Betty's family especially Gail and Van Ray. I worked with her at Western Piedmont Community College for ten years. After that we had many occasions to talk and enjoy each other. I could always count on getting caught up at Christmas time with her family through her cards. May God bless each of you during this most difficult time in your lives. You all remain in my most sincere prayers.

Betty was one of the first people who reached out to me when I was a new member at Mt. Home. She was such a loving and precious soul and affectionately adopted me as a "daughter". Was blessed to get to sing beside her for quite some time in the choir and I know she is singing in that heavenly choir right now. Betty will be missed but heaven truly gained a Saint. My prayers are with the entire family.

I did not know her that well. Her husband was a substitute at my school, Oak Hill Junior High School, when I was a teenager. We loved having him at our school; he was a great man! I know that Gail was a faithful, devoted member at Mount Home. She will be missed!

Gail, Van Ray we are so saddened to learn of Ms. Betty's passing. She was such an inspiration to so many people including us. Heaven has certainly gained another Saint. We're praying that God grant you both and the entire family peace and comfort in all the days to come. Such a Great Lady in heart and mind. Our Love.

Dear Gail, I am so sorry to hear of your mothers passing. Always enjoyed seeing her friendly wave if we passed on the street. She was always there supporting family members if they had lost a loved one; including me. What a blessing for you to have had her to love for so many years. Thinking of you and your family.
