Brenda Huffman, 69 of Valdese, NC passed away, Monday, March 4, 2024. Born on March 9, 1954, she was the daughter of the late Edward and Nancy Presnell. Brenda was of the Baptist faith. She was a beautiful woman who was not afraid to speak her mind. Brenda loved through her cooking. She enjoyed keeping her grandchildren.
Brenda is survived by her children, Felicia Bond (Chris), Mary Woodard (Brandon), Christopher Woodard, Jeff Ray, Timmy Ray; 9 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren: siblings, Carolyn Townsend (Mark), Rose Deyton, Kenneth Presnell, Dean Presnell (Brenda); and her companion for 27 years, Ollan Nichols.
In addition to her parents, Brenda was preceded in death by her son, Joseph Woodard and 3 siblings.
The family will receive friends from, 2pm until 3pm, Monday, March 11, 2024 at Faith Missionary Baptist Church. The funeral will be held in the church at 3pm, with the Rev. Dean Presnell officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

Brenda you will be missed very much I will Always watch over your granddaughter Madeline Elizabeth Woodard.She has blossomed into a beautiful woman and mother.You great grandbabies are beautiful and awesome I am sorry I couldn't get to see you I didn't have transportation. To the family I will keep you in my prayers she is at peace with Joseph Woodard now.
