Brittany Elizabeth Ferguson, 23, of Morganton, NC, went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, May 15, 2024.
Born in Hot Springs, Arkansas on July 8, 2000, she was the daughter of Nicholas Ferguson and the late Tammy Harris Ferguson.
Brittany loved the Lord and was a member of New Manna Baptist Church. She was a loving daughter, sister, and aunt who loved spending time with her family. She also enjoyed camping.
In addition to her father, Brittany is survived by sisters, Mary, Khristal, and Larrissa; brothers, Dusty, Rusty, and Matthew, aunt, Theresa Neely; and a number of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and extended family.
The memorial service will be held at 2 p.m., Saturday, June 15, 2024 at Praise Assembly of God with Rev. Kevin Crawford officiating.
Sossoman Funeral Home and Crematory Center is assisting the family with the arrangements.

Even though I didn't know you,I am so sorry and heartbroken for your loss and for what happened to you. Me personally knowing you doesn't matter,or isn't relevant, it's about having a heart, empathy and sympathy for a person and people.
I'm so sorry for this tragedy. Brittany was a sweet girl. I was her boss at Walmart for over 3yrs. She was fun to be around. She will greatly be missed. Rest in peace sweet girl. Love you Brittany.❤

Brittany, You touched so many lives simply with how charismatic, funny, and pure of heart that you was. Your life has ended far to short, and I know that you're in a better place sharing your love to many. I hope that you and your family know just how many people you have touched with your kindness whether it was small or big. So many have shed tears, and laughter with you, and are at an utter loss at your absence. Fly high beautiful girl, and let your light shine on all.
I meet her at Super Walmart. And she was a very sweet young lady. Sorry for the loss... RIP. Brittany. I will be praying for the family and friends. God be with this family and her friend.. she was a very sweet young lady.
