Douglas Allen Foster, 41, of Morganton, NC, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, September 28, 2023 after an extended illness.
Born in Catawba County, NC on June 15, 1982, he was the son of the late Garry Allen Foster and Lawana Faye Cowart Foster.
Douglas had a big heart and a wonderful sense of humor. He knew what was important to him and held it close. He loved his family and adored his son, Gabriel.
Douglas is survived by his son, Gabriel Allen Foster; sister, Jody Puett; fiancée, Chrystal Mallory; hand-chosen brother, Curtis Bluto; and a number of extended family members.
Services for Mr. Foster will be held at a later date.
Sossoman Funeral Home and Crematory Center is assisting the family with the arrangements.
