Grace “Terri” Allman, 74, of Morganton, NC, died Wednesday, June 5, 2024.

Born in Michigan on December 31, 1949, she was the daughter of the late Frank John Visnaw and Marie Elizabeth Francis Visnaw.

Terri enjoyed baking, cooking, gambling, and lottery tickets. She loved spending time with her family and neighbors, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was a faithful wife and enjoyed traveling back to Michigan to see her family.

In addition to her parents, Terri was preceded in death by a son, Frank Visnaw; and nine siblings.

Terri is survived by her husband of 53 years, Donald Allman; children, Ruth Reddy, Regina Hobbs (Rod), and Randall Allman (Marita); grandchildren, Steven, Megan, Brandon, Brian, Tyler, Jordan, Elise, Emily, and Ray; seven great-grandchildren; siblings, Elaine, Mary, Rose, and Joe; a number of nieces, nephews, and extended family, and her best friend, Rosie.

The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 p.m., Sunday, June 9, 2024 at Sossoman Funeral Home.

Sossoman Funeral Home and Crematory Center is assisting the family with the arrangements.
