I am very sorry to hear of Nelda's passing. We were related via the Hildebrand family. My great uncle was Johny Hildebrand. The family is in my thoughts and prayers.
Nelda was such a pleasure to see at work, she has been a customer longer than I have worked at Cannon Pharmacy. Over the last twenty years I have seen her care for her daughter and do for others all the time. Through all her own struggles and medical challenges she was always so positive and upbeat. I will always remember her sweet tooth and saving her the good Russell Stover candy when it would come in at Halloween and Christmas. It won't be the same this Christmas without her coming to the drive thru.
Nelda was such beautiful lady. I got to know from her Michael Chevrolet days and her last job with Bob at wells Fargo securities. She was always happy and a caring person. God has gained a beautiful lady of love.
My sweet friend and Christian Sister Nelda was such a joy in my life every time we spoke whether in person or via text or phone call. She always had me laughing. She loved Jehovah God and longed to see the Paradise Earth where all of her family and friends will enjoy life forever. Pslam 37:28,29 I loved her smile and her kindness was a quality that much of the world lacks. My son adored her although he only knew her briefly. I will miss her so very much but I take great comfort in knowing that I will see her again soon. Acts 24:15 John 5:28,29 Teresa Meeks
I don’t think I can express in words how much Nelda meant to me and my family. It is because of her, that we came to love Jehovah, just as she did. She has always been such a special person-my second momma, always keeping me straight and sending the sweetest words of encouragement always at the right times. She and Rema were just like me and momma. My hearts broken right now, but I’m so glad she’s not hurting anymore. I can’t wait to give her a huge hug and go bird watching with her in paradise. All our love to the family.
Nelda was Such an Example of what a Friend should be ,She was kind , Compassionate and Loving . I was just becoming a Christian when I met her and had the privilege of caring for her mother , Cleo. They both , along with Jane, were very easy to Love 💕 So Grateful for the Resurrection hope , I look forward to that Grand Reunion. My Prayers go out for her Wonderful Family , May it bring Comfort in that she is Resting Now.
We feel fortunate to have known Nelda if only for the three years we shared the same congregation in Valdese. She was and will remain an inspiration to us in her determination to serve our Grand Creator Jehovah despite many challenges. We look forward to seeing her again in the grand resurrection.💜
I am so incredibly sorry that our sweet Nelda has passed. She will truly be missed because she was loved by so many. I will always treasure the day we spent together a few weeks ago going to Charlotte and back, and getting to enjoy a nice lunch at Cracker Barrel. Nelda has always been a special person in my life…always so caring and kind. I loved her laugh and the twinkle in her eyes when she smiled. I loved her stories of her Mom Cleo and her Aunt Katie. I could talk to her for hours and the time would fly by. I look forward to seeing this wonderful friend again at the Resurrection…until then she will be in my heart everyday.
