Patrick Allen Cronk, 50, passed away on Monday, November 25, 2024 after a brief illness at his home in High Point, NC. Born on March 6, 1974, in Charlotte, NC, he was the son of Michael C. and Sherry B. Cronk.

In addition to his parents, Patrick is survived by his brother, Brian (Greg) Cronk and fiancée, Tonya Sherrill of Hickory, NC; uncle, Tim Doss of Lynchburg, VA; cousins, Chris Doss (Holly) of Goochland, VA and Jeff Doss (Jessica) of Gulfport, MS; girlfriend, Chris Rudolph. He was preceded in death by his aunt, Brenda B Doss; cousin, Kevin Doss.

Patrick graduated from East Burke High School and Chowan College with a degree in Graphic Arts and Printing Technology. He worked for over thirty years as a pressman in the sheet fed printing industry. He was a member of Drexel First Baptist Church.

Patrick enjoyed model railroading, fishing the Outer Banks, and spending time in the NC mountains. He loved his family and was loved deeply by his family in return. He will be greatly missed.

A graveside service will be held at 1pm on Saturday, December 7, 2024 at Burke Memorial Park with Dr. Thomas A. Bland Jr. officiating. The family will receive friends immediately following the service.

Memorial contributions in Patrick’s memory may be made to Habitat for Humanity of Burke County or the American Heart Association.

Sossoman Funeral Home and Crematory Center is assisting the family with the arrangements.
