I send my heartfelt condolences to the Hawkins Family. David was a great person to be around. I didn't get to know him for a long time but the time I spent with him will be forever cherished. He loved preaching and he loved his grandchildren and family as well. He always talked about Judy and how blessed he was to have her as he went on his journey. I know that he will be missed by many but he left an impression that will never be forgotten with his stories and love for people and the gospel. I pray that the family will find comfort and remember him for his warm personality and the love he shared with so many. Sleep on my friend, rest, and know that we all love and miss you always. Gracefully submitted, Rev. Gerald B. Hamilton
