Stacy Wilson, 50, of Morganton, NC passed away on Monday, June 19, 2023. She was born in Gaffney, SC on June 25, 1972 to Bobby Dean Wilson and Yvonne Gunn Wilson. Stacy was a member of North Morganton United Methodist Church. She graduated from Blacksburg High School in 1990 and from Gardner Webb University in 1995. Stacy worked for Foothills Mental Health for 20 years and the Division of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing-Morganton Regional Center for 11 years.
In addition to her parents, she is survived by a brother, Bobby Wilson (Brandie McKnight); sisters, Amy Wilson and Betty Blackwood; a host of nieces and nephews; her church family and many loving friends.
The family will receive friends from 10am-11am, Friday, June 23, 2023 at North Morganton United Methodist Church. The service will begin at 11am in the church with Rev. David Rorie officiating. Burial will be at 2pm at Hopewell Baptist Church Cemetery, 511 Old Chester Rd., Blacksburg, SC.
Memorial contributions may be made to North Morganton United Methodist Church.

I worked with Stacy for many years in the mental health field. We occasionally had lunch and caught up with each other. She was funny and a delight to know. I am so sad to hear about her passing. Sending sympathy to Stacy's family.

Stacy was a wonderful lady. I had the opportunity to get to know her when she came to the Wilkes Senior Center. She always had a smile on her face, and she was so wonderful to the seniors. She will be greatly missed.
Stacy was the most kind person and fun. I know she will be greatly missed to her family I will keep you in my prayers.
