On Sunday my beautiful cousin Tommy left this earth and was escorted by angels into the arms of God. His lord said to him, ‘Well done, good and faithful servant; you were faithful over a few things, I will make you ruler over many “. Heaven has a new angel! It is impossible to express how empty life on earth will be without Tommy, I love him unconditionally and I know without a doubt he loves me. He always took good care of me and I believe he will continue to care for me now as my divine guardian and protector. I will take strength and comfort knowing this and I pray for courage to always do what is right in his honor.

I have known Tommy my entire life. We reconnected when he and the team he was part of brought me in to host the annual Juneteenth Celebration in Morganton. Tommy’s heart, his sense of humor and his generosity never changed never wavered. Our conversations picked up tight where we left off, just like we saw each other yesterday. He was a dear friend and my heart and Prayers go out to his family his kids and grandchildren that he loved to much, and the Morganton Community who he loved and he served till the end! RIP my friend, I am sure gonna miss seeing and talking to you
