Our most sincere condolences to Wayne's family. We have known him and his family even before he was born. Sue and Dewey were so proud of him and his sons and bragged often. Chesley adored her brother and visited him in the hospital at Asheville every chance she got. Our hearts are broken but God knows what is best. May God bless each of you during this most difficult time in your lives. You all remain in our most sincere prayers.

So painful for those of us left behind that knew him, but oh how glorious for him to be in the arms of Jesus. Wayne and Shay are the first people I met after meeting my fiancé and moving to North Carolina. A loving and welcoming couple, their doors were always open for us. Our corner of the world won’t be the same without Wayne. He will be deeply missed.
